March 2 (UPI) -- A dog caused trouble for firefighters in Pennsylvania after getting stuck on the roof of its home twice in one hour.
Nanticoke City Fire Department shared photos of the Siberian Husky that drew rescue crews to the home twice while its owner was out running errands.
"Today city firefighters received a public assist call to a residence on Enterprise St. for a dog on a roof. Engine 2 and Fire Command responded and were able to get the dog back in," police said.
The curious canine refused to spend the rest of the day locked inside the house and once again made its way onto the roof.
"About an hour later, firefighters received another public assist call to same location for the dog on the roof," police said. "The dog apparently wanted to be back outside again and reopened the window and let himself out again."
The residents had were still not home when police arrived a second time so firefighters scaled the side of the home and assured the windows were secured.
