March 1 (UPI) -- An Australian snake catcher shared video from a different type of call -- rescuing a cockatoo that became stuck in a soccer net.

Andrew Melrose of Shire Snake Catchers SSC 24/7 posted a video to Facebook showing what happened when he was called to a New South Wales elementary school on a report of an animal in distress.

Melrose arrived to discover a cockatoo was caught in a soccer net on the school's playground.

"This video shows the shocking results of NETTING, ... whether it's marine life, reptiles, bird life... and the list goes on... our precious wildlife is threatened every day by products we see as ok. It's not. Be aware and responsible," Melrose wrote.

He said school officials are now looking into alternatives to the tangle-hazard soccer net.
