Feb. 9 (UPI) -- An Illinois reporter doing a live report from a rural road hit a deer with his vehicle and the impact was broadcast live on the air.
Dave Davis of WSIL-TV was reporting on road conditions Tuesday in Williamson County when his vehicle struck the deer on Route 166.
"That's a first time right there," Davis says in the clip.
The station said Davis pulled over and confirmed the deer was killed by the impact. The reporter was not injured.
