Black bear cub picks a fight with its own reflection on stopped car

Feb. 3 (UPI) -- A confused but scrappy black bear cub was filmed by a Canadian national park visitor trying to pick a fight with its own reflection in the side of a car.

The filmer said they were stopped on a road at Waterton Lakes National Park due to a mother bear and her cubs wandering through the road, and they started to film when one of the cubs' attention turned to one of the cars ahead.

The video shows the cub standing on its hind legs and swatting at the side of the car.

"At first we weren't able to determine what they were concerned about, but a closer look at the video showed the baby bear 'attacking' his reflection," the filmer wrote online. "We were unable to go anywhere as the baby bears had been moving back and forth across the road, and as there were 3 cubs it was hard to keep track of where they all were, so we just sat and watched until they moved off into the trees."
