Feb. 1 (UPI) -- A cat in Pennsylvania is back on solid ground after being stuck at the top of a neighborhood tree for three days.

Upper Chichester Township Police Department shared video of the rescue as Dan Kelly from Kelly's Landscaping used a cherrypicker to assist police in bringing the stranded feline back to safety.

Video shows Kelly rising up to meet the cat before carefully guiding it into his grasp and placing the frightened animal into the machine's basket.

An object could be seen falling out of the basket, but police assured it was merely Kelly's hat.

Police officers said the cat was brought to the ground without incident and remains safe and sound.
