Feb. 1 (UPI) -- An Australian cyclist's video camera captured the moment a kangaroo jumped over one of his riding companions and clipped the man's helmet.

Peter James Roberts posted a video to Facebook showing footage from his Sunday ride with some friends in Humbug Scrub, South Australia.

The video, which shows a rear view from Roberts' bike, captured the moment a kangaroo jumped over one of the cyclists, bumping the other man's helmet.

The stunned -- but still upright -- cyclist, Michael Bland, said it felt like "either [the kangaroo's] tail or foot just clipped" his helmet.

"Today's excitement: Attack of the Roo!!!" Roberts wrote. "Note. No animals were harmed in the making of the video."

"Michael Bland however needs to buy a lotto ticket!" he wrote.
