Jan. 31 (UPI) -- A snake catcher in Australia arrived at a Queensland home just in time to rescue a frog that was in the process of being eaten by a common tree snake.

Lana Field of Snake Catchers Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan & Gold Coast responded to a home in Jimboomba to capture a common tree snake that had been pestering the homeowner.

Field located the snake in a drain pipe and was surprised to discover it was in the process of trying to eat a frog.

The snake was released in a nearby creek. Field said the frog, which suffered only a small scratch from the snake's attempt to make it into a meal, was released separately.
