Pigeon knocks camera drone out of the sky

Jan. 25 (UPI) -- A drone operator taking video over Slovakia ended up crashing the aircraft when a pigeon crashed into it and knocked it off balance.

The drone video, recorded Dec. 30, shows an aerial view of a church and the surrounding town of Spisska Nova Ves.

A flock of pigeons soon moves into frame and appears that it is going to pass by the drone, but one of the birds apparently miscalculates its path and crashes directly into the aircraft.

The drone is sent hurtling downward, crashing into some tree branches on its way to the snowy ground.
