Florida kayaker hooks lemon shark, brings it to shore

SANIBEL, Fla., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- A pair of Florida kayakers fishing off the Atlantic coast captured video footage of their unexpected catch -- a lemon shark.

Jacob Spencer posted the video to YouTube, showing he and a friend fishing from kayaks off the coast of Bowman's Beach in Sanibel, Fla.

One of the men hooks what seems to be a large catch and the culprit is soon revealed as the shark.

The men reel-in the animal and drag it to shore before taking the hook out of its mouth and releasing it.
