PESCOCOSTANZO, Italy, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- A daredevil skier made the most of a winter storm in his Italian town by pulling off an extreme jump from a makeshift ramp over a flight of stairs.
Gianpiero Giugliano posted a video to Facebook Friday showing a skier taking on the town of Pescocostanzo, which received more than seven feet of snow in recent storms.
The town is home to the Vallefura ski resort, but the daredevil skier instead took on an improvised ski jump over the stairs of a basilica.
The man skis down the stairs before hitting the snow ramp, which sends him careening over the railing.
"Phenomenal. Fun in the perfect storm," Giugliano wrote.
