Mother moose and calves parade through Colorado back yard

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo., Jan. 3 (UPI) -- A Colorado resident captured video of a trio of unusual New Year's Day visitors -- a mother moose and her two calves.

Christine Walsh Rakowski of Steamboat Springs posted a video to Facebook showing the mother moose and babies walking through Rakowski's back yard.

Rakowski and her husband can be heard marveling at the unusual visitors and chiding a nearby driver for going "too fast" and disturbing the moose family.

"This New Year's morning story out our back door. Still this place amazes me!" Rakowski wrote.
