WASHINGTON, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- An airline passenger created an uncomfortable situation for fellow passengers and flight attendants by flying with his pants off.

Actor Kumail Nanjiani shared a "tweet storm" depicting the story of the man who sat next to him while lounging in his boxer shorts for the duration of the flight.

"I was on a plane a couple of days ago. A guy took off his jeans & lounged around in his boxers with his feet up on the wall," Nanjiani wrote.

He added that the man's poor behavior started early as he stood in front of the gate 30 minutes before the flight departed, forcing wheelchairs to navigate around him.

Nanjiani said that after four hours of sitting with his bare legs raised, a flight attendant asked him to lower his legs, resulting in a "40-second staredown."

His compliance with the flight attendant's request was ultimately short-lived as Nanjiani said the man placed one of his legs back on the wall within minutes and treated the staff poorly throughout the flight.

"[Five minutes] go by and he thrusts one foot back up like a fist raised against an unjust sky," Nanjiani wrote. "This guy was rude to the staff the entire time. If he didn't get the flight attendant's attention, he would slam his fist on the armrest."

In addition to his bare upright legs, Nanjiani said the man used a USB charger that flashed multicolored lights and watched the film Florence Foster Jenkins.

"The movie he chose to watch through his hairy thigh 'V'? Florence Foster Jenkins. About a woman who can't READ THE ROOM," Nanjiani wrote.

The saga concluded as the man ignored seatbelt signs in order to stand up in the middle of the aisle just as the plane was set to land to put his jeans back on.

"He walks off the plane. No police is waiting for him. No justice," Nanjiani wrote. "He adjusts his belt, and the monster blends into a crowd."
