MIAMI, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- A Burger King in Miami is offering local residents the opportunity to swap their unwanted Christmas gifts for a Whopper.

Burrger King's official Twitter account shared a video showcasing a series of "lousy" Christmas gifts that will be able to be exchanged for Whoppers at the Miami Beach location on Dec. 26.

Similar gift exchanges will also be held in London and Brazil and all of the gifts collected will be donated to charity, NBC Miami reported.

"At Burger King restaurants, we are always looking for ways to surprise our fans, no matter if they were good or naughty," Burger Kingsenior vice president of global brand management, Fernando Machado, told Miami New Times. "The Whopper Exchange will offer our guests the chance to get a flame-grilled gift in exchange for an unwanted one, because this holiday season, we want everyone to receive something they will love."

A Burger King spokesperson said the gifts should be unused and "exchanges will be limited to a certain number of gifts."

"The acceptability of item will be determined by Burger King Restaurant personnel in their sole discretion," the spokesperson said.

The Miami exchange will be held from between 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 100 of those unable to make it to one of the three locations will be chosen to win prizes by submitting photos to social media with the hashtag #WhopperExchange.
