Firefighters rescue cat trapped inside Florida office building wall

PLANTATION, Fla., Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Firefighters busted through the wall of a Florida office building to free a cat that had been stuck inside the wall for three to four days.

The Plantation Fire Department tweeted early Friday that firefighters were working to free a cat that had been stuck in an office building wall for at least the night.

A second tweet showed firefighters successfully removing the feline after breaking a hole in the wall.

Firefighters said the cat is believed to have been inside the wall for three to four days. The cat was taken to Hollywood Animal Hospital, where vets said it is expected to recover fully from its ordeal.

It was unclear how the cat ended up trapped inside the wall.
