PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- A pair of loose dogs stopped traffic on Philadelphia's Betsy Ross Bridge and one was captured after jumping the concrete barrier.
A video posted to Twitter by Marlton, N.J., resident Sean Kelly shows the two dogs, a German shepherd and a hound, running through the right lane of traffic after wandering onto the bridge from Richmond Street.
"Loose dogs on the Betsy Ross Br Philly Side. Someone help them!!!" Marlton tweeted to Philadelphia police
The video shows the hound dog jump a concrete barrier, seemingly leaping over the side of the bridge, but Delaware River Port Authority officials said there was a walkway on the other side of the barrier where the hound landed safely and was apprehended.
The German shepherd eluded capture and left the bridge on its own, the DRPA said.
No owners have come forward to claim the wayward canines.
