Oregon man uses head to smash his car's ice 'window'

PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 12 (UPI) -- An Oregon man made light of his winter weather struggles by using his head to smash through the "window" of ice on the passenger side of a car.

A video posted to Instagram by user sweetbabymelmel shows her friend, David Boekelheide, seemingly smashing his head through the passenger-side window of a car, though the barrier was actually nothing more than the ice that froze to cover the window and remained in place when the window was lowered.

The stunt elicited laughter from onlookers.

"Heeeeeeeeeeeeere's DB!" the uploader wrote, referencing the famous scene in The Shining where Jack Nicholson smashes through a wall.
