Jing wrote Animal Concerns Research and Education Society rescuers were contacted about the pangolin after he filmed his "impromptu documentary."
ACRES wildlife group director Kalai Balakrishnan told Singapore's The New Paper online that the animal was "calm and just kept walking" when rescuers located it on campus about 10:45 p.m.
Balakrishnan said the pangolin was given a health checkup before being turned over to a local zoo to be microchipped and released.
