NEW YORK, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- A crowdfunded silicone clip is looking to help dog owners clean up after their pets without using their hands.

The Piqapoo clip, funded by Kickstarter, is used to attach a plastic dog bag to the pet's tail to collect their feces while they walk.

"The Piqapoo has a soft clip and a durable collection bag beneath, that comfortably attaches to a dog's tail, so when your dog does its business, all of the poop will fall directly into the bag with no mess and no leakage," Piqapoo said in a press release. "With just the press of a button, dog owners can release the bag directly into the trash, making the cleanup process easy and sanitary. "

The clips feature silicone cushioning and come in five different sizes in order to fit a variety of different dogs.

Piqapoo surpassed its Kickstarter goal of $15,000, raising $35,057 from 443 backers.

Units are expected to ship by April 2017, with a single Piqapoo and 60 collections bag being offered to early Kickstarter supporters for $29.
