Kitten Inn shared a photo of the trapped kitten and the story of how her head became stuck between segments of a dishwasher. Advertisement "Hubby opened dish drawer and one of the kittens got up underneath and managed to get her head jammed in between the plastic of the drawer inner and the metal of the outside - meaning she couldn't move forward or back without seemingly getting crushed or strangled," the kitten care facility said. The distressed feline meowed in desperation while other kittens watched on and Kitten Inn workers sought help while attempting to console the kitten. Eventually an employee called the local emergency line and three firefighters came to the tiny cat's rescue. "So I demand the phone and call 111 and three lovely firemen came around and they got on their knees and did some magical fireman thing and out she popped," the Kitten Inn said. Once free the kitten was dazed but in good health, as one of the firefighters planned to take a pair of kittens home.
