BERKSHIRE, England, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- An Englishman set a Guinness World Record by bungee jumping more than 200 feet to dunk a biscuit into a teacup.

Simon Berry, 24, plummeted 240 feet and 10 inches while attempting to dip a chocolate hobnob into a cup of tea to claim the record for Highest bungee dunk ever on the 12th annual Guinness World Records Day.

Berry managed to dip the cookie into the mug adorned with the Union Jack, topping American Ron Jones' bungee dunk of 198 feet and 8 inches.

Berry stayed suspended over the teacup to pose for photos as Official Guinness World Records adjudicator Sofia Greenacre declared his record attempt a success.
