Arlington Police Department shared photos of Officer Joshua Altimus holding the long snake which was found on the wall of a Toys R Us store. Advertisement "Officer Altimus arrived and noticed the snake wasn't aggressive so he rescued the 4' animal and ensured a safe transport to a local rescue center," police said. Arlington police spokesman Lt. Christopher Cook told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram the snake was a likely ball python that was kept as a pet and released by its owners. The rescue group plans to find a home for the snake, while police marveled at the strange situation. "You never know the calls you might get on a Saturday night!" police said.
