Fire crews in Colorado used a rope made of towels to rescue a tiny kitten who had become stuck in a storm drain. Residents in the neighborhood said the kitten may have been trapped for about 24 hours.

The resident who called the fire department told Denver7 she believed the tiny cat had been trapped down the pipe for at least 24 hours.
Fire crews lowered a rope made of towels about eight feet down into the pipe allowing the kitten to grab on and be raised up to safety.
The grateful kitten meowed loudly as it was raised out of the pipe, but no information on its owners were available.
