WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn., Nov. 7 (UPI) -- A "moose on the loose" ended up needing a little help from Connecticut State Police when it wound up trapped in an airport's rental car lot.

The Connecticut State Police said in a Facebook post that a moose "suffering from a case of the Mondays" was briefly trapped Monday morning in Bradley International Airport's Enterprise Rent-A-Car parking lot.

Troopers worked with the East Granby Police Department and Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection personnel to guide the moose, estimated to weigh more than 1,000 pounds, back to the open woods.

"File this under 'things they don't tell you about in the academy,'" the Facebook post joked.
