CHICAGO, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- The Chicago Cubs offered fans planning to skip work or school for Game 7 of the World Series a "super official" excuse note for their bosses and teachers.

The team's official Twitter account posted a photo Wednesday of a form letter designed to get fans excused from school, work or other commitments so they can support the team against the Cleveland Indians in the final game of the tied series.

"Super official excuse notes for EVERYONE!" the team tweeted.

The form letter reads:

"To Whom It May Concern,

Please excuse ____ from class/work/other responsibility on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016.

The Chicago Cubs are playing Game 7 of the World Series, and if you are not familiar with sports narratives... well, it's kind of a big deal.

We need all the support we can muster up, and _____ has been an integral part of our fan base for __ days/weeks/months/years, and we cannot #FlyTheW without them.

Thank you so much for understanding, and if you ever need a cute GIF tweeted at you, we are your Twitter account.
