Chinese man sets world record for water jet pack backflips

XIAN, China, Oct. 19 (UPI) -- A man in China set a new Guinness World Record for most backflips with a water jet pack in one minute.

Liu He completed 29 backflips while using a water-propelled jet pack on Bahe Lake in Xi'an, topping his previous world record of 27.

A crowd watched from along the shore as Liu launched himself into the air using the water-propelled device to complete each flip.

Liu attempted 33 flips within the one minute time limit, as a Guinness World Records adjudicator confirmed that 29 of the flips were complete 360 rotations necessary for the record.
