HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- A comedian in Canada was attacked by a pair of robbers who attempted to steal his pants

"We were approached by a couple of gentlemen that seemed to have taken a shining to my pants," Black told the CBC. "They stopped us and insisted I hand over the jeans, which I did not. Soon, a tussle ensued."

The attackers jumped a nearby fence as they fled the scene without the pants leaving Black with minor injuries.

"No teeth lost, no black eye. I still have all my parts in the right places," he said.

One of the suspects returned to the scene as Black was speaking with police and was arrested. He is set to appear in Halifax Provincial Court.

"One of the guys came walking right past us and it turns out he had dropped his phone and that turned out to be his undoing," Black said.
