DIJON, France, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- A disgruntled Apple customer who was allegedly refused a refund was filmed using a metal ball to smash iPhones at an Apple Store in France.

Video of the Sept. 29 incident at the Apple Store in Dijon's Toison d'Or shopping center shows the man using a metal petanque ball to smash several display iPhones and at least one laptop.

Witnesses said the man complained Apple "violates customer rights" and refused him a refund.

The man fled from security guards but was arrested inside the mall.
