Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe HADDONFIELD, N.J., Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Authorities in a suburban area of New Jersey are asking residents to keep an eye out for a loose sheep that reacts "baaadly" to capture attempts. The Borough of Haddonfield said in a Facebook post Wednesday the "large white sheep" has been spotted "on the loose" in the area surrounding the border between the town and neighboring Cherry Hill. Advertisement "The sheep is very skittish and runs away when approached," the post said. The post included a cartoon image of a surly-looking sheep with the caveat, "actual sheep will differ from image." "Please do not attempt to catch the sheep, it may take it baaadly," the post said. Officials said the sheep escaped from a pen in Cherry Hill earlier this week and there have been scattered sightings ever since. "He's extremely hard to catch," Animal Control Officer Rob Chabot told NJ.com. "A lot of times when we get there, he's gone." Chabot said the sheep has outrun Animal Control officers anytime they've managed to catch a glimpse of it.
