Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe PARLIER, Calif., Sept. 13 (UPI) -- A pair of California police officers used "a partially eaten burrito" to rescue a hungry kitten that was stranded in a drainage pipe. The Parlier Police Department said in a Facebook post Officers Adolfo Jimenez and Daniel Corona discovered the scared kitten meowing for help inside a drainage pipe early Monday morning. Advertisement The department said the officers "teamed up, got a little dirty and coaxed the kitten to safety with a partially eaten burrito." The kitten was turned over to Parlier Animal Control, but the department said Officer Corona plans to adopt the feline and name him Burrito.
