COLORADO SPRINGS, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- A Colorado Springs homecoming queen's popularity is extending online after she posted pictures showing she won the position while dressed as a T-Rex.
Sarah MacDonald, a senior at Liberty High School, posted a photo to Twitter showing her posing with her family at the school's Homecoming game this weekend while wearing her sash, a tutu -- and a Tyrannosaurus Rex costume.
"Still can't believe I won homecoming queen because of a T-Rex costume," she wrote.
MacDonald posted a video to EllenTube showing her classmates cheering as she responded to her name being called at the Homecoming assembly earlier in the day by running down the aisle in the T-Rex costume.
The teenager tweeted a picture drawn by the children her boyfriend babysits, saying they believe she is "an actual dinosaur."
