Pythons have upside-down fight outside homeowner's window

WHIAN WHIAN, Australia, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- An Australian woman captured video of two pythons engaged in a mating season brawl outside of her window while hanging upside-down from her gutter.

Cheryl Judd posted a video to Facebook showing the view from her dining room window in Whian Whian, New South Wales.

The video shows the two pythons coiled together in an upside-down wrestling match while hanging from the roof's gutter.

"One snake kept falling and would climb the trees and back onto the roof to have another go," Judd wrote. "He did this 3 times."

Snake experts said combat between rival male snakes is likely to remain a common sight in the coming weeks as mating season for the animals is in full swing.
