Bear shows off parkour skills on Colorado woman's deck

DENVER, Sept. 7 (UPI) -- A Colorado homeowner captured video of a bear using an elevated back deck as a personal gym to perform one very large pull-up.

The video shows the bear hanging from the second-floor deck after a parkour-style climb and struggling to pull itself up onto the surface.

The bear is eventually able to grab onto the deck with its jaws and pull itself up to the deck.

The homeowner said she occasionally sees bears in the area, but the deck climbing display was a first.

The bear showed considerably more athleticism than a previous deck-invading bear that had to be relocated after spending two days camped out under the structure.
