SMITHERS, British Columbia, Aug. 24 (UPI) -- A group of bear cubs at an animal shelter in Canada enjoyed a feast of apples provided by generous locals.

Northern Lights Wildlife Society shared video of the group of about 25 bear cubs as they snacked on piles of apples.

"For all of you that donated apples and money towards a new Bear enclosure. Here is what we do with your support," they wrote. "Thank you with all of our hearts we couldn't do it without you."

The bears can be seen happily biting into the apples, creating a chorus of crunching sounds.

According to the shelter, the majority of the bears in the video were orphaned as the result of vehicle collisions.
