NORTHAMPTON, Mass., Aug. 19 (UPI) -- A Massachusetts animal control officer used cooking grease to rescue a raccoon that became stuck by its head in a sewer grate.

The Northampton Police Department said in a Facebook post an animal control officer responded to a request for assistance at the Northampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center and arrived to find the raccoon's head poking out from the top a sewer grate.
