Police officer delivers emphatic performance of Beyonce's 'Formation'

WASHINGTON, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- A police officer dazzled a crowd of onlookers by dancing to Beyonce's "Formation" at an event.

Instagram user mrldavis shared video of the officer's performance commenting on the extreme nature of his Beyonce fandom.

"When you're a police officer but a Beyonce Stan too so you have to get in Formation, literally," he wrote.

The officer began lip-syncing the song while performing dance moves reminiscent of Beyonce's performance at the 2016 Super Bowl halftime show.

His performance ended with a split, which drew raucous applause from the crowd.
