NAVARRE, Fla., Aug. 16 (UPI) -- A Florida mother who spotted a bear in her yard captured video of the bruin taking a seat outside her window to stare back at her.

Angie Pope of Navarre posted a Facebook Live video Thursday showing the small black bear walking around her yard while she and her children watched from a window.

The bear appears to notice the family and walks up to the window to look back at them.

"He is looking right into my eyes," Pope says in the video. "I don't know what to do."

The bear takes a seat right outside the window to watch the woman filming him inside.

"This bear has got some balls," she says, "he's just in my yard."

Pope jokes she has "a shotgun" when the bear props himself up on his front paws for the closer look.

The bear goes back and forth from the yard to window for about seven minutes while Pope films.

Pope posted a second video a short time later showing the bear lounging in her yard for about a minute before walking around her house.

The mother said her videos hardly do justice to the feeling of seeing the bear up close.

"I kind of wanted to pet behind his ears," Pope told WEAR-TV. "I wouldn't because he has big teeth and claws."
