CORNELIUS, Ore., Aug. 15 (UPI) -- An Oregon fire department battling a 5-acre brush fire captured video of a "firenado" swirling flames into the sky.

The Cornelius Fire Department posted a Facebook video of the fire tornado created last week by high winds and the 5-acre brush fire.

The fire started in fields on the city limits in Cornelius.

Firefighters said the flames were extinguished with no damage to nearby buildings or reported injuries.
