GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Aug. 9 (UPI) -- A visitor to a Michigan zoo captured video of curious otters "mimicking" her young son as he moved around next to the glass.

The video, recorded Saturday at the John Ball Park Zoo in Grand Rapids, shows a boy looking at the otters through the glass of their enclosure as they follow his movements.

"We were watching the otters play when they started mimicking my son," the uploader wrote.

The boy's sister watches the scene in the video and determines she will also get the attention of the otters if she dons a Snoopy hat like her brother's, but the mammals do not show interest in her.

"My daughter thought if she put her snoopy hat on the otters would follow her also but once she put the hat on they ran away and she pouted," the mother wrote.
