SACRAMENTO, Aug. 9 (UPI) -- A California fire department shared video of firefighters rescuing eight kittens trapped inside a storm drain.
The department posted a video to Twitter showing the Aug. 5 rescue, which involved a member of the Truck 7 crew standing inside the drain once the cover had been removed.
The man gently lifts the kittens and sets them down next to his fellow firefighters while the mother cat and bystanders look on.
"All is well," the department tweeted.
