EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J., Aug. 8 (UPI) -- A New Jersey man ended up with two separate obituaries in the same newspaper due to disagreements between his wife and girlfriend.

Two separate obituaries printed in Friday's edition of the Press of Atlantic City state Leroy "Blast" Bill Black died Tuesday of lung cancer at the age of 55.

The dueling obits bear one important difference: One states he is survived by "his loving wife, Bearetta Harrison Black," and the other instead lists "his long-[time] girlfriend, Princess Hall."

The obituary mentioning his wife also lists his children, some of whom are omitted from the second write-up.

A man answering the phone at the Greenidge Funeral Home told the Philly Voice that officials ended up having two obits printed because "the wife wanted it one way, and the girlfriend wanted it another way."
