XIANGYANG, China, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Chinese farmers showed off the unusual strength of their watermelons by trying to break the fruit on the ground -- and failing.

The video shows farmers in Hubei Province showing off their crop of "unbreakable" watermelons.

The farmers toss the melons onto the ground, but the fruit bounces instead of breaks.

The men carry out a series of strength tests on the melons, but none of them seem to take any damage.
