SEA ISLE CITY, N.J., July 29 (UPI) -- A young visitor to a New Jersey beach learned a valuable lesson about feeding seagulls when a piece of food held over his head caused the birds to descend on him.
The video, posted to Twitter by user @ohthatstricia, shows a young boy, identified by the uploader as her cousin, AJ, walking on a beach in Sea Isle City with a piece of food held over his head.
The video goes into slow-motion as food-seeking seagulls swarm around the boy, who screams and flees the birds in a style that would make Tippi Hedren proud.
The uploader said the seagull baiting video was AJ's idea and he wasn't harmed by the gulls.
"Don't feed seagulls, kids," she tweeted.
