The bear can be seen returning to bite the wooden deer's face before standing on its hind legs to knock the lawn decoration over.
Woodruff said she will continue her efforts to contact the conservation office about the bear, but believed she did a good job of frightening it.
"Yes, I scared it too," she wrote. "At least I think I did."
