Wild boar runs out of Baltic Sea to terrorize sunbathers at Polish beach

KARWIA, Poland, July 19 (UPI) -- Visitors to a beach in Poland captured footage of a wild boar charging out of the Baltic Sea and aggressively chasing sunbathers.

Witnesses to the Sunday afternoon incident in Karwia posted videos to YouTube showing the boar swimming to shore at the beach and running toward sunbathers and the screens they had set up to protect them from the wind.

The boar is seen knocking over screens and sunbathers alike while a group of men armed themselves with poles and other objects to chase the porcine invader toward the nearby woods.

The boar was eventually driven away from the area. Three people were treated at the scene for minor leg injuries from the boar's tusks.
