GATLINBURG, Tenn., July 14 (UPI) -- A sea turtle at a Tennessee aquarium was filmed being vexed by a small fish that used its superior speed to avoid being eaten.
The video, recorded June 4, shows the sea turtle at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies in Gatlinburg trying in vain to catch a small fish that seems to be mocking it by repeatedly swimming close to its mouth before darting away.
The turtle appears to become more annoyed with each failed bite.
"It was very strange to see this little fish dancing in front of the turtle, just out of range teasing it," the filmer wrote. "The crowd, along with us were simply delighted that the elusive turtle was so close to the glass, and by the fact that we got to see something unique.
