Cyclist rescues kitten from busy intersection in Russia

ROSTOV, Russia, July 14 (UPI) -- A Russian cyclist stopped in a busy intersection to rescue a small kitten that had wandered into traffic.

The video, recorded by a driver's dashboard camera in Rostov, shows the kitten wandering in and out of the road while cars pass without seeming to notice the tiny cat.

A cyclist riding through the intersection while there are no cars around pauses to scoop the feline up in his arms.

The bicycle rider is seen headed toward the sidewalk as the filming car passes. It was unclear whether the cyclist released the kitten at the side of the road or took it to a safer location.
