'Bagel Rat' carries a cream cheese-topped bagel at New York subway station

NEW YORK, July 13 (UPI) -- A woman at a New York subway station captured video of a bizarre sight: A rat carrying a bagel with cream cheese spread on it.

Chloe Finch posted a video to YouTube showing the unusual rat she spotted on the D train platform at the Atlantic Ave./Barclays Center station in Brooklyn.

The video shows the rat carrying a bagel that appears to have been covered in cream cheese.

"One rat, one whole poppyseed bagel with schmear," Finch wrote.

Rats in the New York subway have become famous for their bizarre behavior, with one particularly famous rodent being dubbed "Pizza Rat" after carrying a slice of pizza up a flight of stairs.
