Sneaky seagull steals potato chips from British store

SOUTH SHIELDS, England, July 1 (UPI) -- A customer at a British store captured video of a sneaky seagull walking across the floor, grabbing a bag of chips in its beak and strutting out of the shop.

Gordon Lindsay, 41, said he as shopping at the Greggs store in South Shields, England, when he filmed the seagull walking past the checkout counter, grabbing a bag of salt and vinegar chips and fleeing.

The seagull runs out faster than it entered and quickly flaps its wings to open the automatic door.

"It had absolutely no shame and certainly didn't hang around once it had got what it wanted. I couldn't believe the cheek of it. It flapped again to open the doors and off it went," the Express quoted Lindsay as saying.
