AUSTIN, Texas, June 28 (UPI) -- An ostrich at a Texas safari park was apparently so annoyed to be filmed eating a piece of offered bread that it snatched the phone from a father's hand.

The video, posted to YouTube by Sean Friedrich, shows a man trying to feed an ostrich -- which he initially misidentifies as "Mr. Emu" -- a piece of bread from his hand.

The ostrich accepts the man's offer of bread after he correctly calls him "Mr. Ostrich" and the bird lets out a squawk of apparent thanks.

However, the bird's gratitude turns to attitude in a hurry when it notices the man is filming with his camera phone.

The ostrich snatches the phone from the man's hand and drops throws it to the ground.

"At a safari park in Texas when an ostrich reaches into the car and steals my phone. Sorry I screamed like a little girl," the video's description reads.
