HOUSTON, June 27 (UPI) -- Wildlife trappers in Texas shared a photo of a shade-seeking alligator hiding under a vehicle in a resident's driveway.
The Gator Squad posted a photo to Facebook showing the gator hiding under a truck in the Mathews family's Houston driveway.
"Alligator under car in driveway looking for some shade on this sunny day. I thought I was gonna have the day off but alligators come first. Thank you Jeffrey Bell with Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office for helping on the catch," the post said.
Bell posted a second photo of the alligator from a second angle, while residents posted photos of the trapper posing with the captured reptile.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office expressed sympathy for the gator in a Facebook post.
"Aren't we all looking for some shade today?" the post read.
